Hi! I’m Gloria, a Master’s student in the Hamdoun Lab. My parents were born in France but I grew up in Davis, CA and moved to San Diego in 2021 to pursue a bachelors in Marine Biology at UCSD. I have always loved the ocean and am passionate about molecular biology. I am currently focusing on creating a Cas9 line in the sea urchin, Lytechinus pictus, in order to optimize the creation of future transgenic lines. In my free time, you will usually find me at the beach or out with friends discovering new places around San Diego. I also love to draw, dance, and laugh.
